"What does a local or national church have to do to become part of an Alliance?"

The suggested procedure for interested parties to become members of a KRS Recognized Alliance is to have:

  •  An established relationship with a KRS Board Member(s) or Advisory Board Member(s)

  •  A period of 1-2 years of relationship-building through visits and mutual trust-building events.

  •  A solid commitment to the KRS Core Values demonstrated in ministry

  •  A track record of relationships with other churches and/or pastors in their community.

  •  A visible connection with other churches in the west.

  •  A commitment to being accountable to KRS fiscal policies

  •  A credibility and legitimacy in ministry reflected in connection with other churches and non-profit organizations.

Legitimacy is assessed on the basis of:

  •   Relationships

  •   A structure of accountability over the ministry

  •   Character qualities (see 1 Tim 3 and Titus 1),

  •   Demonstrable commitment to the ministry and vocation that reflects KRS Core Values
