Church-based Ministry

Jesus Christ has determined to build his church (Mat 16:18), promising that His ecclesia will conquer the gates of hell.  Christ died to present His elect to God without stain or wrinkle (Eph 5:25-32). Christ is the head of his church (Eph 1:22,5:23). It is to the church that Christ gave the Great Commission (Mat 28:18-20) and through whom he works to build his kingdom in every tribe and nation (Col 1:27b, Rev 5:9-10).  He makes his wisdom known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places (Eph 3:10) and is adding to the church’s membership daily those whom he is saving (Acts 2:47).

The church is not restricted to one nation or ethnic group but is found in every nation. It is one universal church (Jn 17:20-21) in Christ (1 Cor 12:14, 20, 27), with one call to obey her Lord and Master by means of the Scriptures he confirmed as truth in the Old and New Testaments of the bible (Jn 17:17). The marks of the church and practice of the means of Grace (Acts 2:42) must be evidenced in the relationships and alliances of the members of the Society.
